Job Description
This role is heavily commercially focused. With responsibilities around Financial Planning, Forecasting as well as getting involved with Financial Management & Control.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in preparing presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
- Identify trends and opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
A successful FP&A Accountant should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with financial reporting tools and systems.
- A degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- The ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- An adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
- Rolling contract paying a day rate.
- Temporary contract providing flexibility and valuable experience.
- Exposure to a large organisation with established processes and systems.
