Our goal is to make DIY conservatory installation accessible and straightforward for the self-builder and home improver. We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a DIY Conservatory Sales Consultant, managing the full sales journey from enquiry to order.
As a DIY Conservatory Consultant, you will be the main point of contact for customers who submit enquiries through our website. You will take ownership of each lead, managing the process from initial contact through to final sale. This includes advising on product options, planning and building regulations, producing accurate quotations, and offering technical guidance, all without the need for site visits. You'll help customers understand our systems and support them in building with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and follow up on leads for DIY conservatory sales
Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to order placement
Generate detailed and accurate quotations for conservatories and roof systems.
Use CAD software to produce layout and design visuals.
Advise customers on building methods, planning requirements, and building regulations.
Provide clear guidance to DIY customers to ensure they clearly understand products and installation process.
Act as the key technical contact for all sales-related queries.
Provide advice and support on third-party systems such as Durabase and Leka flat roof systems.
Maintain accurate records of customer communications and quotations.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience working with conservatory systems is essential
Proven ability to create accurate sales quotations
Proficiency in CAD design software
Strong understanding of UK building methods, planning regulations, and compliance
In-depth knowledge of construction materials and processes
Familiarity with installation processes, especially in the DIY market
Experience or working knowledge of third-party systems such as Durabase
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Driven, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
Office-based role - must be within commutable distance of Rotherham
