Summary of the Role:



The post holder will provide comprehensive and accurate administrative support for the Planning Department and Site teams. Working with accuracy and precision in ensuring that all records are accurate and easily retrievable.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:



Create, monitor and maintain drawing records electronically ensuring all records are up to date and accurate. Control and distribute all drawings, ensuring they are date stamped, recorded and filed. Supersede all previous drawing issues and archive. BREEAM administration and co-ordination of folders. Liaise with clients design team. QA role of information provided to site teams. Ensure accurate compilation of Health & Safety Files, O&M Manuals and track information for same. Ensure project documentation is returned to Head Office in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 Provide cover for Office Co-ordinator as and when required. Maintain relevant quality, environmental health and safety control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001. Be aware of and comply with the Company's Health & Safety Policy. Fulfil company CPD requirements undertaking all relevant training and development activities as required. Contribute to the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility activities.

Person Specification:



Required Experience:



Must have proven experience in administration role.

Experience in managing information in an orderly fashion.

Working to tight deadlines.

Desirable Experience:



Experience in establishing and maintaining electronic filing system. Previous relevant administrative experience within the construction industry. Competent in the use of DWG viewer and Adobe.

Required Education:



Grade 'C' in Maths / English at GCSE level or NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or equivalent.

Required Skills & Abilities:



Sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Strong communication and organisation skills. Candidate must have proven experience in administration role. Ability to create and maintain good working relationships. Excellent written and oral skills. Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
