Kings Hil based (Kent) with hybrid working (4 days in the Kings Hill office and 1 day working from home)


Salary:

25,500 per annum

We're looking for an enthusiastic, team centric individual to become part of our team as a Document Controller at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).


What you'll do




At CAF, every one of us contributes to our impact, and as our Document Controller you too will play an integral part in what we do.


The Document Controller is responsible for the efficient management of customer communication and documentation in the CAF Group. The Document Controller ensures the integrity, accessibility and compliance of customer records via accurate digitising, indexing and storing. The Document Controller ensures that stored data is complete and meets the expectations of internal policies and external regulations e.g. GDPR.


As our Document Controller you will:


Convert, index and store physical documents to accessible electronic documentation. Implement document control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with data policy and regulations. Provide inspection across documents to ensure data quality. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge repository of Document Management processes and procedures. Provide subject matter expertise regarding document management and best practises.

Who you'll be




This role is for you if you have experience of working in Document Managementor have relevant transferable skills and are keen to make a difference to society. We are looking for:


Proficiency with document management systems and Document Scanning Technology. Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word. Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Accurate data entry and database management to maintain integrity across electronic and paper records. Familiarity with GDPR. Exceptional attention to detail.
