for our long-standing client -- a leading specialist Mechanical and Electrical service provider, delivering projects directly for clients and Tier 1 main contractors across London and the surrounding areas.
We are seeking an
organised and detail-oriented individual
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to play a key role in supporting project delivery within Heathrow Airport. This position will be based primarily on projects located airside and therefore requires successful applicants to obtain a full airside pass, which will be processed by our client.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain project documentation in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
Ensure that all project documents are correctly numbered, controlled, and distributed.
Support project teams with document submittals, transmittals, and version control.
Maintain up-to-date registers of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical documents.
Liaise with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and approval of documentation.
Implement document control processes to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
Coordinate the archiving and retrieval of project documentation for completed works.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction, engineering, or M&E industry.
Familiarity with document management systems (e.g. Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, or similar).
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams.
Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience working within an airport environment is highly advantageous, though not essential.
