About the Role:



Most products we supply require extensive processing, testing & inspection and many will eventually end up in inaccessible subsea environments. It is therefore essential that we ensure they are fit for purpose before they are released to the customer. As a Document Controller it will be your job to review the manufacturing records and ensure that the products fully conform to the customers' requirements.

You will be reviewing mill certificates, heat treatment, testing, inspection and plating reports for conformance to applicable specifications. You will use these documents to compile certification packs, including certificates of conformity, BS EN 10204 3.1 & 3.2 certificates. We have software systems that help with this verification and full training will be given to support the role.

This role also involves assisting customers with any certification/document related queries and working with suppliers to resolve any documentation issues.

You will be part of the Quality Team which comprises of Certification Engineers, Quality Inspectors & Quality Manager.

Requirements:



This role would suit an engineering graduate or someone with previous experience of working with technical documents and specifications or a person that has worked in a similar environment. Experience with fasteners and/or API 20E/20F products would be highly beneficial but is not essential. Training can be given. Basic understanding of different types of heat treatment processes, mechanical/ metallurgical/NDT test methods is required, although further training will also be provided as needed. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers & colleagues Attention to detail is essential.

Details:



Hours: Mon - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 4pm 24 days annual leave plus stats. 1 extra day's holiday awarded at year 5,7 & 10. Company pension Flexible start time as and when required by request. Pay dependent on knowledge and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
