We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dog Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and Dogs and a keen interest in food preparation and service. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers and their dogs while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your responsibilities will include assisting with catering, serving customers, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the cafe.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and serving customers promptly and courteously. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas. Support catering operations by preparing and serving food for events as required. Operate coffee machines and prepare beverages. Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of both customers and staff. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations within the cafe.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is highly desirable. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Barista experience is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.60-12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
