We are seeking a professional, compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/driver to provide exceptional care and support to ensure the smooth running of our doggy day care.
The ideal candidate must be at least 21 years of age, hold a Level 3 in Animal Care and will have a strong background in dog handling and care, along with excellent customer service skills. Experience with dog training, pet grooming, or day care management is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their pets while working in a supportive environment.
Dog Care & Supervision
Monitor dogs during playtime, rest periods, and feeding.
Ensure a safe, positive, and structured environment at all times.
Support dogs with varying needs, personalities, and energy levels.
Assist with enrichment activities, basic training reinforcement, and group play management.
Clean and maintain play areas, the day care centre, and equipment to high hygiene standards.
Transport & Driving Duties
Safely collect and return dogs for day care using company vehicles.
Follow secure handling procedures when loading/unloading dogs.
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle environment.
Communicate pick-up/drop-off times with clients professionally and courteously.
Customer Service
Build positive relationships with pet parents through friendly, reliable communication.
Provide brief updates about their dog's day when needed.
Represent the company with professionalism and care at all times.
Skills & Qualities
Genuine love for dogs and understanding of canine behaviour.
Responsible, patient, and calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Confident driver with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable with physical tasks, including handling dogs of all sizes.

Experience
Dog training, pet grooming or day care experience, will be considered an asset
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Ability to handle dogs safely and confidently.
Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred.
