Oxley Dogs are looking for someone to join our team as a full-time dog walker/ adventurer & driver. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to all our dogs and clients, priding ourselves on offering a friendly, trusted and professional service. We prioritise the safety and welfare of the dogs in our care at all times and hope to find someone who shares these aims to join the fun and adventures at Oxley Dogs.

What makes us different is that we are run by a professional who has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Welfare and Behaviour and we use this as a base for providing an informed, educated and responsible approach to dog day care.

Part of this ethos is to provide a variety of adventures. Every day can be different, optimising a range of locations and activities to keep things exciting and enriching for all involved. Whether we are in the woods, at beaches, lakes or parks, we are always on the look-out for new places to discover to keep it fun for both the dogs and adventurers, it is all part of the Oxley Dog experience.

We don't just walk dogs - we are a family of explorers and adventurers ensuring every day is filled with exciting activities beyond a simple walk in the park.

Full Time Dog Walker/Adventurer & Driver

Working Hours

=Monday - Friday (7:30 - 16:30)

Salary =

25,000 gross per annum

Work Location =

West London (Chiswick, Hammersmith, Fulham, Putney, Barnes etc)

Responsibilities

Two walks a day (2hr walks) with a maximum of 4 dogs at any time

Collection and drop off of dogs with company provided van

Interaction with clients during collection and drop off

Ensuring dog welfare and safety throughout the day

Providing companionship and appropriate exercise

Collection of media content throughout the day for social media purposes

Requirements

Lives in West London

Experience with dogs (does not have to be professional)

Genuine love and interest in dogs and their behaviour and welfare

Comfortable walking multiple dogs on and off lead

Ability to remain calm, patient and focused in all conditions

Love for outdoors and nature, no matter the weather conditions

Be physically fit and willing to be outdoors most of the day

Be a good team player but also happy to work as an individual

Good communication skills with a positive and polite manner with people

Confident with taking photos and videos for social media

Clean UK driving licence (held for a least 3 years)

Comfortable driving a manual van (van provided)

Careful and considerate driver

Occasional availability on weekends & bank holidays (if you wish)

Occasional availability for overnight boarding (if you wish)

What We Offer

Full-time salary with 4 weeks' holiday a year

Canine first aid course

On-the-job training and education
