Job Description

SW Dog Groomers (located in SW19) are looking for a qualified dog groomer to join our salon. We offer a bespoke grooming service in a calm, stress-free environment, to ensure the happiness of both our staff and the dogs! We mainly work on a 1 to 1 basis, however for larger breeds assistance will always we given.

We firmly believe that education is so important in our industry, and so staff will be offered paid seminars and entry to grooming competitions in order to enhance their skills further.

We are looking for a groomer with at least 1 years experience. Salary is dependant on experience and workload.

Your job will include:

carrying out both breed standard and modern styling on all breeds of dogs (and sometimes cats too!) consulting with clients to ensure their specifications are met taking bookings and updating our computer system with relevant notes. keeping the salon clean and tidy updating social media accounts
The ideal candidate will:

hold a Level 3 qualification be able to handle animals confidently and safely have their own scissors (all other equipment is provided) have excellent communication and customer service skills be comfortable working with cats as well as dogs (we can provide training in cat grooming) be able to work Saturdays
