We are offering a great opportunity to grow your business in a professional, state of the art, well-kept grooming salon with a choice of electric or hydraulic grooming table to rent in a clean and friendly environment.

Cleaning equipment including henry hoover vacuum cleaners, mop, cloths and antibacterial animal sprays.
Use of washing machine, tumble dryer and washing supplies.
Waste bins & disposal
Supportive & welcoming atmosphere
Days negotiable - open 7 days per week between 8am - 8pm

Please contact us to arrange viewing, meeting and discuss rental options. You will be required to pay rent on your table in advance weekly or monthly based on the number of days you wish to rent per week. A deposit will also be required.. The rent you pay will also be going towards maintaining premises, air-conditioning and repairs of equipment.

Availability to rent full days only Monday - Saturday or half days / full days Sundays. No restrictions on bank holidays.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking sincere dog lovers who are enthusiastic professional dog groomers with exceptional grooming skills who want to grow their own business. We offer a fun, positive and supportive team environment. Ideal candidates will have a true passion for animals with a caring attitude and positive handling skills. Salon cleanliness & hygiene is important and we all muck in to keep standards high. Excellent communication, with a kind and caring personality and good people skills are required to succeed.

- Previous salon experience with Level 2/3 grooming or similar relevant salon experience is preferred OR proof of running your own grooming business for minimum of 2 years (portfolio proof required). No E-learning qualifications.

- Strong customer service skills to interact in a friendly and professional manner

- Dedication for continual learning within the industry, self motivation, ambition, reliability and attention to detail

How it works:

You will need to be registered as self employed before we can offer you a table, have your own public liability / business insurance and ideally come with an established customer base. We can provide overflow clients for you to groom but you will be expected to advertise yourself externally on social media, online or in print to promote your own business. You can choose hours between Monday - Sunday between 8am - 8pm.

What you are responsible for:

You choose your hours, the days you wish to work, the dogs / cats you wish to groom, your prices. Your customers are your responsibility, scheduling your own bookings, confirmations and payments. We are unable to offer a rental option if you cannot supply a copy of your insurance and proof of self employment.

What you get use of:

Use of private grooming room and table / choice of hydraulic or electric to include full H bar, noose, belly straps on the days you rent. Ability to use against the wall or away for easy access. Use of shared large electric bath suitable for small and large dogs with noose and belly strap. Blaster and stand dryers provided, use of washing machine and tumble dryer. Use of waiting / play area for dogs.

Our ethos is to offer a positive and supportive environment to customers to encourage long term relationships with their pets. We pride ourselves on high standards, enthusiasm to do our best and offer great service. Our spacious modern air conditioned salon offers a peaceful grooming experience for dogs and cats with a variety of services for all breeds. We use vegan shampoo made in the UK, use up to date equipment, individual stand dryers and air-conditioned rooms keep our team and visitors comfortable. We do not use drying cabinets or crates but offer a comfortable 'chill' area with toys, drinking water and bed to relax.

Responsibilities:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling dogs (and/or cats)

- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety, comfort and welfare throughout the grooming process

- Communicate effectively and respectfully with pet owners, other self employed staff and salon manager.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety within the salon. Care of equipment and premises provided, reporting any damages or items in need of repair to Salon Manager.

- Maintain & service your own clippers, blades and scissors. Provide your own brushes and combs.
- Keys will be provided to enable access to premises on agreed days of rental.
