We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our small team at a rehabilitation center . The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look their best while also maintaining their health and well-being. This role requires both technical skills in grooming and excellent customer service abilities to build rapport with pet owners.

Duties

Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any health issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, including the proper sanitisation of tools and equipment. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and provide recommendations for care. Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Assist in lifting heavier animals when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Skills

Strong animal care skills to ensure the well-being of pets during grooming sessions. Good customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners and address any concerns they may have. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or assisting with mobility challenges.
