Location: Pencoed, Bridgend

Position: Full-time and part time avalible

Hours: 38 to 45 a week. (Tuesday to Saturday)

Are you passionate about dogs and looking to start or grow your career in dog grooming? Paws at Pencoed is looking for a Dog Grooming Assistant to join our friendly and professional team!

About the Role:

As an Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced groomers, helping to ensure every dog receives top-quality care and grooming. You will assist with bathing, drying, brushing, and general prep work while learning valuable grooming skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

? Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of all breeds and sizes

? Assisting stylists with grooming preparations (nail clipping, ear cleaning, etc.)

? Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the salon

? Handling dogs safely and compassionately

? Engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner

What We're Looking For:

- A genuine love for dogs and a patient, caring approach

- Some experience in grooming

- Level 2 and 3 grooming training required

- A willingness to learn and develop grooming skills

- A positive attitude and a team player

- Strong attention to detail and salon hygiene
