Dog Grooming Assistant/bather
Job Description
This position is offered on a Full Time Basis but hours will vary from week to week. Hourly pay- 11.44
Full Training will be provided but experience with different dog breeds and how to handle them would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting groomers with bathing, drying and brushing dogs.
- Handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures.
- Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised grooming area.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals preferred.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, as some pets may be large or require assistance
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner.
- Must be confident with large dogs as you will sometimes be required to work with them without help.
