We have an exciting opening for an animal lover and go getters to join our team!

Pawesome is a platform for animal lovers wanting to grow a successful business out of their genuine enjoyment of caring for animals and getting exercise outdoors.

Our exclusive team of pet care providers have all undergone a carefully considered recruitment process, and have ongoing support to equip them with the knowledge and tools required to understand the industry, the job, and to successfully create and maintain their own pet care business.

Only applications with a covering letter will be considered. Please do not apply if you do not drive, driving is essential for this role.

Ideally we have a position for 1 dog walker in and around Bromborough. This can be full time, or a few days per week.

Candidates that will also do pet sitting will have first consideration. Pet Sitting is staying in a clients home with their pet when they are away.

These positions will work best for someone that lives in this are, or within a 10 minute drive from this area, unfortunately it's proven to be unsustainable for people that live further than this.

For the right person, this job really is life changing. It is a lifestyle choice, and means exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals every day. It can be incredible for your mental health if these are things that you enjoy, and this is an environment that you thrive in. However, it is no 'walk in the park' despite popular belief. This is a real job that requires real work and real commitment. This is NOT a job for someone that wants a hobby around other commitments that they already have. We work around the clients needs, they do not work around us. This means that you will have regular clients that have bookings with you every week, most of them at the same time and on the same day every week, others that make regular ad-hoc bookings.

Pawesome Walkers & Pet Sitters are responsible for their clients, and are expected to be reliable, personable and professional.

We believe in free running doggies amidst nature, and so very rarely street walk dogs on lead. This means going to beaches, woods and fields to create a lovely experience for the dogs. Which in tern, means that the right person for Pawesome must be OK with 'proper walks', sometimes getting muddy and wet.

All of our Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters are self employed, and subcontract from Pawesome Walkies. Pawesome provides the clients for you, as well as links to electronic consultation forms and terms and conditions to create ease and make sure that you are fully covered for all possible scenarios. We create the invoices for you, send them to your clients, and pay you on the 14th of every month irrelevant to whether your clients have paid or not. We offer ongoing support, a team in your area for you to lean on and utilise, we are on hand to help you grow your desired clientele, can often provide sickness and holiday cover for you, we keep all clients in the loop on your behalf with blogs and newsletters, we create regular adverts tailored to your desired clients for you to share, provide marketing materials for you, holiday prizes and competitions, as well as monthly competitions with rewards and incentives for pet care providers and clients, we provide you with a profile on our website, there is career prospects, and so much more.

Pawesome deducts a commission from your monthly earnings, the amount of which is reduced once you are self sufficient and more involved with the business. Pawesome is successful because it is simply not possible for pet care providers to offer their clients the same level of service whilst working alone, nor would it be affordable for the pet care provider.

Pawesome pet care providers are provided with a team feel and security with Pawesome, as well as having a huge amount of the stress and weight removed from them, to enable them to enjoy the pet care aspects of their job and offer their all to the pets and clients. Together we are stronger. Working with Pawesome increases the likelihood of success for pet care providers, as we can help you avoid the many mistakes made by those working alone in their first year, which often unfortunately results in people cutting their losses and clients left messed around. Our many busy and content pet care providers, some of which have been with us for up to 7 years, are our greatest asset as they are the evidence as to how well our model works. Due to the nature of this role meaning that the Dog Walker/Pet Sitter may be in the clients most personal space, with their most beloved pet, amidst all of their valued belongings, the right person for this role must be personable, trustworthy, have a love for animals and great communication skills. The successful applicant will also be required to provide a DBS check cert (security check), and get insurance.

Initially the work may be less busy, but if our other dog walkers and sitters in the area are anything to go by, then the right person for this role may get very busy, quickly (Once they are confident and equipped for it). However, this does require commitment and flexibility from you.
