for new staff to join our friendly, loyal and hardworking

. We are flexible in terms of timings and days you have available, as long as they are consistent each week. Our current busiest times are between the hours of 9am-3pm Monday to Friday. With overtime always available on a weekly basis. We offer competitive rates of pay and pride ourselves on paying a full rate per dog and like to stick to the smallest geographical area per Dog Walker as possible.

This is a

permanent contractor

(

self-employed

) role, therefore providing an amazing and consistent experience for our clients and staff is really important so only apply if you know you can commit to and are interested in a long term position. Your tax responsibilities are your own to manage but we can help you if you haven't done it before. You will be

paid

on a

weekly basis

and required to complete an invoice each week for the work you have completed.

Duties

Collecting dogs from their home using your own vehicle and also dropping them home. Carrying out the walk or visit for that dog, meeting the individual requirements that have been asked of us from the client. Reporting back to the owners informing them of how their dog has got on whilst in our care, as well as any toileting details. Updating the owners with photos and videos of their dog whilst carrying out the services. Checking in and out using our system to ensure all services are carried out at the appropriate times. Provide mental stimulation for dogs during walks as well as the physical exercise Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients and their pets

Requirements

Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Holding a pet management or care certificate/qualification (not essential) Good time management skills Excellent route planning and logistic skills Reliable and dependable - Independently and in a team environment Being fit and healthy Full UK Driving License Clear basic DBS check
