I run a small and friendly doggy daycare business near Loughborough Junction in South East London (SE5). We're looking for a totally pawsome full time Daycare Assistant to join our lovely team! You must hold a full UK driving licence and be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes).

The role:

Your days will be spent collecting dogs from their homes and bringing them to daycare, walking our pack of furry friends, writing "pupdates" to customers and generally helping at the daycare centre to ensure things run smoothly and the dogs have the best time with us during the day.

As this is also a customer facing role we're looking for an individual who is not only caring and confident in handling dogs, but is friendly, professional and approachable with our hooman customers too!

The successful candidate will gain experience handling dogs day to day, and also have access to accredited qualifications eg. Pet First Aid, Animal Behaviour and Animal Body Language, to name a few. We support valued members of staff who have interests in particular areas such as Dog Handling or Dog Training, with access to beginner, intermediate and advanced courses.

The ideal candidate must be:

confident in handling dogs confident in driving a manual van punctual reliable trustworthy flexible friendly and approachable a team player proactive and have a "can do" attitude able to work outside in all weathers able to provide at least two references and a DBS check have a full, clean UK driving licence

You must have a clean Full UK driving licence, be over 25 and be eligible to work in the UK.

It would be desirable for you to live locally to the centre (SE5) and be willing and able to board dogs at your home from time to time, so please highlight this in your application if it applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
