This is an exciting opportunity to join Equation, a Nottinghamshire based, award winning

and innovative charity dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence and abuse.



We're looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting Equation's to aid achieve the goal stipulated within national to reduce domestic abuse, by addressing perpetration at its root causes in a community-based approach. This role is available within Equation's perpetrator services, aiding with the organisation of the Your Choice Project, our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme (DAPP), and Project CARA, a Police Out of Court Resolution for standard risk domestic abuse offences. This pivotal role involves working closely with the team and those who have been identified as survivors or perpetrators of domestic abuse. This role has responsibilities specifically focused on engaging with perpetrators, both directly and through liaison with partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing referrals and assessments Promoting our services to referrers and professionals Coordinating logistics, training, and data monitoring Acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for partner agencies (e.g police, survivor support agencies and social care) Supporting service development and safeguarding Contributing to quality assurance and impact evaluation

What we're looking for



We are looking for someone who:

Has the ability to manage sensitive and challenging situations with

empathy

and professionalism. Has knowledgeable about

safeguarding

procedures and domestic abuse legislation. Possesses knowledge and

passion around domestic abuse offending and recidivism,

who is keen to develop and learn new skills. Good

organisational skills

and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Understands the dynamics of domestic abuse and the importance of holding perpetrators accountable Is committed to equality, safety, and empowerment for all Holds a relevant qualification in social work, psychology, counselling, or similar (or equivalent experience)
