Summary
As a Domestic Abuse Support Accommodation professional at Threshold DAS, you will play a vital role in offering safe and supportive housing solutions for individuals escaping domestic violence. This position is crucial in helping clients navigate their journey towards recovery and empowerment.
Responsibilities
Provide safe accommodation for individuals fleeing domestic abuse situations.
Assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support services.
Create a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters healing and recovery.
Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Facilitate workshops or support groups aimed at empowering residents.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
Experience working with women experiencing Domestic Abuse.
Experience working with children is preferred but not essentail .
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with clients.
Knowledge of domestic abuse issues and available resources.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
