Job Description

The Role:

Join a leading specialist provider to protect and empower young people in Caerphilly by tackling domestic abuse and unhealthy relationships.

Location:

Caerphilly, South Wales, UK

Salary:

24,222 per annum

Contract:

Fixed Term to March 2026 (potential extension)

What You'll Do:



Deliver essential

domestic abuse awareness sessions

in schools and youth settings.

Educate

on healthy relationships, consent, and gender-based violence (VAWDASV). Provide

trauma-informed one-to-one support

and

risk assessments

to young people who disclose abuse. Facilitate

group work

to build resilience and coping strategies. Champion youth-led initiatives and collaborate with multi-agency partners.

What You'll Need:



Experience

working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse. Knowledge of

VAWDASV

and effective

safeguarding/risk assessment

procedures. Strong group facilitation and one-to-one support skills.

Full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
