Job Description

```Duties- to a high standard:```

- ESSENTIAL- at least 10-15years roofing experience

- Competency in stripping and replacing old for new pitched roofing- including all tiles and slates (Essential)

- Being able to complete a project from start to finish (eg, knowing what materials need preparing, clean up to leave the site spotless at the end of a project, ensuring the client is left happy, etc) (Essential)

- All lead work including box gutters, chimney step flashing, lead valleys, etc (Essential)

- Cement work- being able to overhaul chimneys, ridging and verges (Essential)

- Flat roofing- torch-on felt (Desired)

- Fascias, soffits and guttering (Essential)

- Installation of velux windows (Essential)

- Full UK driving license (Essential)

- General roofing knowledge- to be able to problem solve, ie, being able to locate a leak and come up with a solution to resolve the issue (Essential)

- Basic carpentry skills (Essential)

- Experience working at heights and in various weather conditions (Essential)

- Being able to work well within a team (Essential)

- Punctuality and good work ethic (Essential)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
