An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Abundant Grace in Seaford.

Hours - 28 average per week

WK 1 - Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun all 8-4

WK 2 - Mon, Fri, Sat all 8-4

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior

service to our residents

To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the

home at all times.

To clean residents' rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have

completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and

water/dispose of as necessary.

To clean communal area's including mopping, vacuuming, dusting Ensuring the home is safe e.g removing clutter, keeping storage area's tidy Shampoo carpets as and when needed. To present and provide clean and ironed laundry at all times, available for clients as needed To take particular care with resident's personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state. To check resident's personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to matron for discussion if a repair if necessary
