Domestic Assistants Responsibilities

Keeping all areas of the home clean, including all toilets. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning and sweeping as appropriate Ensuring that all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition Wear protective clothing in accordance to COSHH and Health and Hygiene regulations Maintain a suitable stock of suitable cleaning materials Sorting washing, loading and unloading the machines taking care to use the correct temperatures depending on type of fabric Sluicing of linen where necessary, hand washing of residents clothing as required Ironing and pressing of clothing and linen when necessary Sorting and folding residents clothing
