We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant/Laundry Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the care home environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in residential homes , ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Utilise appropriate cleaning techniques and products for different surfaces and materials.
Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with the organisation of cleaning schedules and priorities based on specific needs.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from clients promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or within a hospital environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with cleaning protocols, especially in healthcare settings, is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
