Domestic Assistant Position

Spencer Grove Care Home are looking for a permanent domestic assistant to join our fantastic, hard-working team.

Since opening in 2009, Spencer Grove has received many awards for excellence in care, including a number of winners at the Great British Care Awards and was also awarded "Best Healthcare Development" at the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Awards.

Your tasks will include:

Cleaning all areas of the home, including bedrooms, and communal areas such as lounges, dining rooms and bathrooms

Assisting in laundry where necessary

Reporting any defects, damage, breakages or hazards

Ensuring that all cleaning chemicals and equipment are stored safely

What we are looking for in a Domestic Assistant:

You may have some experience in working in a similar role, but it is not essential

You should have an eye for detail and be able to spot areas in need of improvement

We'll provide you with all the necessary equipment for you to be able to do your job effectively, including PPE to help you actively participate in the prevention and control of infection
