Duties

As a Domestic Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices. Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards Evaluate standards of cleaning competence Ensure the individuals' rights are protected Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

Experience

While previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred, it is not essential. Experience working in a care home environment will be advantageous but not mandatory.

Candidates should demonstrate:

A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and patients. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
