Job Description

At Croob Cottages we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, including residential and commercial rooms and spaces. You will ensure that all areas of the home are a clean and comfortable environment in which staff and visitors can effectively work. You are responsible for all areas of cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.

This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Duties



Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure that all areas, including restrooms and kitchens, are clean and well-maintained. Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Skills



Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Experience in commercial cleaning or hotel environments is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. A willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning practices and customer service.
Report and record in the appropriate manner any information considered to be important to the Registered Manager and adhere to Croob Cottages policies and procedures.
