Langston Nursing Home is a private Nursing Home for 36 residents based in Kingham, Chipping Norton

We are urgently looking for Domestic Assistant who has a caring attitude and will contribute to the high standard cleanliness of the home.

Your responsibilities will include:

To provide a level of household and domestic provision to residents as individual people ensuring that their personal preferences are catered for. Clean external courtyards/fourecourts and porches. To notify the House Keeper of any shortages of cleaning and housekeeping materials within the Home. To assist nurses during the tea time with the tea trolley etc. To chat with residents and seek support for them as needed. To help with the laundry during the weekends, holiday time, and during sickness cover. To launder clothes, iron, deliver residents laundry to bedrooms and put away. To follow laundry policy re infection control and Health and Safety. To follow schedules and complete reports. To use electronic systems as required. To use equipment to clean the house with care and report any defects immediately. To clean/polish as needed all paintwork, furniture and fixings, remove cobwebs, clean windows, bathrooms and floorings on a daily and deep clean basis. To ensure high hygiene standards by also using the products supplied at the correct dilutions. To report faults, breakages, decoration updating in correct manner. To be part of the Gold Standard Framework To complete training as required in the correct time frame. To assist anyone as needed.
Rate: 12.21 weekdays and 13.01 weekends. Bank holiday pay incentives applies.
