Job Description

We are currently looking for a part time Domestic Assistant at Edensor Care Centre, our warm and friendly home by the sea for adults with a range of residential, nursing and dementia-related needs.

Our priority is to ensure residents feel safe, secure and cared for, in a place where their dignity and privacy is respected at all times. Edensor is part of the Diagrama Foundation, a charity which has supported vulnerable children, young people, adults and families around the world for almost 30 years.

We expect you to:

Maintain all areas of the home in a clean and tidy state and carry out laundry duties to ensure clients live in a dignified manner at all times Comply with all policies and procedures to ensure that equipment is well maintained Complete and maintain documentation to ensure relevant information is accurately recorded Communicate and act in a professional manner to promote teamwork and ensure high standards of service delivery Identify and report any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client Ensure own and, when appropriate, other's actions reduce risks to health and safety in compliance with statutory legislation and company policy

Desirable:

Previous experience within a similar environment Good standard of education
