WHAT IS INVOLVED?



Hawthorn learning disability team is a dedicated group of professionals who support individuals with a range of learning disabilities to live a fulfilling life. We work in a person-centred way, promoting dignity, respect, and empowerment, the team includes senior support workers, support workers, administrative support, domestic and cook. We operate in a warm, inclusive environment where everyone contributes to the wellbeing of people that we support.



As a domestic assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the individuals we support. Duties will include;
General cleaning of communal areas, Kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms Laundry duties including washing, drying, and ironing Assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene Supporting infection control procedures Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting stock shortages Working alongside the care team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort

WHAT WILL I NEED?



Whilst previous experience in a domestic or cleaning role is desirable, it is not essential. Training will be provided. What is important is a good attitude and willingness to contribute to a caring environment.

Interviews will be held week commencing 8th December 2025.
