Abercorn Care Limited has two small family owned care homes, one with 18 residents and the other with 20 residents, the homes are situated in the Portobello area of Edinburgh and,we are currently looking for staff to join our domestic team.

Being a Domestic Worker in our Homes is a vital position that makes a huge difference to the health and well-being of our residents. The role involves ensuring optimum levels of cleanliness and, the overall appearance of the home, in line with the Home's standards and best practice, following cleaning schedules and infection control policies and procedures.

The successful applicant will be efficient, punctual and able to work as part of a team. Attention to detail and presentation will also be required attributes. Duties will include sanitisation of all areas around the home and various other general cleaning duties.

Passion, empathy and a desire to making a difference to the lives of our residents is essential.

As we provide a 24/7 service, employees are required to work across a rota that covers a 7 day period, including various hours, weekends, and bank holidays.
