We are currently seeking a

Domestic Assistant

to help maintain a safe, tidy, and hygienic environment for our residents and staff. This is more than just a cleaning role it's an opportunity to be part of a compassionate team that supports individuals with complex needs in a warm, respectful, and inclusive setting.

What You'll Be Doing:

Keeping our building clean, tidy, and hygienic alongside a dedicated team. Supporting residents in maintaining their personal spaces, encouraging independence and dignity. Supervising and helping train others in cleaning duties. Participating in staff meetings and training sessions. Working flexibly and cooperatively, especially during holidays and periods of sickness, to ensure continuity of care and cleanliness.

What You'll Bring:

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office and internet use). A warm, friendly manner and a genuine interest in supporting people with complex needs. Flexibility in working hours and a team-oriented attitude. Understanding of residential rehabilitation environments, recovery principles, and professional boundaries. Respect for our Christian ethos and the ability to work within it.

Requirements:

Membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Willingness to undergo necessary vetting checks.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
