We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Domestic Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning, organizational, and administrative tasks to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency within our facilities. Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures, adhering to established hygiene standards.
Manage laundry and linen services as needed to ensure cleanliness and availability.
Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, reporting repairs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Organize storage areas and assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Support event planning activities by setting up spaces, arranging furniture, and ensuring facilities are prepared for meetings or gatherings.
Handle administrative responsibilities including data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests from staff or visitors and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
Manage front desk duties such as greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing inquiries efficiently.
Utilize office management tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace applications, and QuickBooks for bookkeeping or expense tracking purposes.
Conduct proofreading and transcription tasks for internal documents or correspondence as required.
Support calendar management using Microsoft Outlook Calendar or similar tools to coordinate appointments and facility bookings.
Use office technology such as DocuSign for document signing processes when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in office management, clerical work, or as a personal assistant with strong administrative skills.
Demonstrated ability in event planning, project coordination, and organizational management.
Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace applications, QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), and multi-line phone systems.
Excellent typing speed with attention to detail for transcription and proofreading tasks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in bookkeeping or basic financial record-keeping is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to perform light physical tasks such as lifting supplies or moving furniture when needed.
Previous office experience including filing systems, data entry, front desk operations, and office supply management is highly desirable.
