Care Manager (Senior Carer in care manager absence)
Purpose:
To ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene maintenance throughout the home and for the comfort of the residents, staff and visitors.
Main Responsibilities:
To carry out cleaning duties throughout the home
To ensure the home has necessary levels of supplies to carry out your duties
To clean sanitary and associated equipment paying particular attention to the control of germs and infestation.
To follow & comply with Infection Prevention and Control guidance
To maintain all required records such as health & safety and cleaning records
To report any maintenance defects, security problems or fire hazards.
To dispose of waste in accordance with the homes waste disposal policy.
To have a working knowledge of the homes Health and Safety, COSHH and Environmental Health regulations.
To have a working knowledge of the homes policies and procedures in respect to your job.
To support, guide and advise colleagues in the use of equipment and safe working practices associated with domestic duties.
To attend and contribute to staff meetings when requested
To attend training in respect to your duties.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above it may be necessary to perform other duties not listed. Consideration will be given to your skills and status when requesting you perform these duties.
This role requires an enhanced Criminal Records Check (PVG) and therefore applicants must meet the criteria for working with vulnerable adults.
