Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to provide essential support in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience in hospital or commercial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is vital in contributing to a safe and pleasant living or working space for all occupants.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and communal areas. Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and debris. Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing as required. Organise household items and maintain an orderly environment. Assist with the preparation of meals when necessary, adhering to dietary requirements. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in domestic assistance or a similar role is preferred. Experience in hospital or commercial cleaning environments is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards clients and colleagues. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the household or workplace.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
