To contribute to patient care by ensuring cleaning services are delivered in a professional, helpful and friendly manner by providing a high standard of cleanliness to Wards, Department, Residences and Offices in the Trust and associated buildings.

Some vacancies have arisen for Domestic Assistants based at our new Community Diagnostic Centre Hub, within the Emily Siddon building, Southgate Huddersfield adjacent to the Daphne Steele Building, due to open early 2026.



Responsible to the Community Supervisor, The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleaning in line with the Trust's cleaning protocals.



The successful candidates would preferably have cleaning experience and experience using floor machinery, although full training will be provided.

The hours and shift patterns are:

Monday to Friday 6.00am-10.00am (20 hours per week)



Saturday and Sunday 6.00am-10.00am (8 hours per week)

Sweeping, Mopping, Scrubbing / Polishing Floors.

Collect in, wash and re-distribute water jugs / tumblers.



Beverage preparation.



Collect in dirty crockery.



Maintain cleanliness of kitchen.

Estates Reporting



Stores Ordering.



Attend all mandatory training, and role specific training as required.
