The Knights Care Home is situated in an attractive residential area of the historic coastal area of Lytham St Annes. We are a well-established home providing high quality, short and long-term care for up to 30 elderly ladies and gentlemen.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at The Knights Care Home located in Lytham St Annes. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, contributing significantly to their overall comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for residents and staff. Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, dining rooms, and resident rooms. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team. Support the care team by providing a pleasant atmosphere for residents. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Participate in training sessions as required. Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles. Familiarity with health and safety standards in a care setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards elderly individuals.
