At Stocks Hall Andrew Smith House we are looking for a genuinely caring and passionate person to join our well-established housekeeping team.

You will be working with our committed staff to deliver the highest standards of individual care to our residents, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Person centred care is at the core of what we do, allowing those we care for to flourish and our staff to feel immense satisfaction in their everyday duties.

Members of our domestics team are responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors and staff and be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel valued. Duties will include following a daily schedule for cleaning within the home, hoovering, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, mopping floors and any other duties as required.

This specific role will have more of a focus upon maintaining a high standard of documentation, upkeep and respect for our residents clothing and belongings, including but not limited to (for example) the updating of property lists, labelling of personal items, returning of laundry to bedrooms, etc.

We are looking for an applicant who can commit to 24 hours per week on our rota covering four days per week. Some weekend work may be required, but there will be more focus on weekday cover.

The rate of pay is starting at 12.21 (over 21's) per hour with enhancements at weekends and for overtime. Due to health and safety and other legal requirements (due to the nature of this role), applicants for this role will be over 18.
