Job Description
Bethany House Care Home is a Residential Home in Lipson, Plymouth.
This role is part time: 16.00 hours per week.

As a Domestic Assistant you will play a key role in our team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home. You will also assist with the washing, drying and ironing of resident clothes and bedding.
You will be responsible for the general cleaning of designated area's ensuring both tidiness and hygiene are kept to an impeccable standard at all times. This can include; cleaning bathrooms and toilets, changing and making beds, emptying waste bins and laundry duties.

What we are looking for in a candidate:
Willing to partake in mandatory training ie. Infection Control, Health & Safety Previous experience of Domestic work. Able to interact with residents professionally and respectfully Able to organise and manage workload and prioritise duties. You may be required to assist in the laundering of resident' clothes and bedding You must be able to work independently on your own initiative as well as in a team.

You will work alternate weekends or one weekend in three with the other members of the Domestic Team. :
For part time: 3 days per week: 8am-1pm / 1:30pm
