Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Assistant to join our team. The role plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the setting. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout the nursery and assisting with and ensuring food safety and hygiene

- Assist in preparation and serving of breakfast and snack for children aged between 0-4years
- Maintain cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the setting
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as hoovering, mopping and disinfecting surfaces

- Follow cleaning schedules and plan

- Assist in the cleaning of main areas, play spaces, bathrooms and dining areas

Experience:
- Previous experience cleaning and/or kitchen experience would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
- Williningness to attend training appropriate to the role and setting
- Familiary of Health & Safety legislation, and safe use of cleaning materials
- Good organisational skills

- Must be able to work 1-2 evenings per week

Hours to include; Kitchen assistant (one morning per week, 8am-1pm) + domestic assistant - 2 evenings per week (5pm-9pm preferred, but can be discussed) and remainder of hours made up within morning/afternoon - days and times can be discussed with successful applicant

Pay: 12.63 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
