Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised environment within private residential care home. This role is essential in ensuring that homes are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to the overall well-being of the residents. We encourage resident involvement in their own housekeeping tasks wherever possible to ensure independance is promoted and maintained and individuals are supported with to build on their skills.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces Organise and tidy living spaces, ensuring all areas are clutter-free Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes Assist with meal preparation and kitchen maintenance, including washing dishes and cleaning appliances Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages Follow specific instructions from household members regarding cleaning preferences and schedules Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks

Experience

Previous experience in domestic work or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques is advantageous Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without supervision Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes A friendly disposition with good interpersonal skills to interact positively with household members

Pay: 12.60 per hour
