12.40 per hour

Permanent, Part-Time

Hours:

21 hours per week

Shifts:

8:00 AM - 2:00 PM | rolling rota -- 3 days on, 3 days off (includes weekends & public holidays)

We're searching for a reliable, detail-oriented Domestic to keep Towy Castle sparkling. Your work helps residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

About Towy Castle

Nestled in three acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential and dementia care home with more than 35 years of trusted service. Our long-standing team is known for kindness, professionalism, and a person-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas in line with the daily schedule, including deep cleans when required. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors throughout the home. Restock and sanitise toilets and bathrooms, ensuring supplies are always available. Dispose of refuse promptly and hygienically. Collect, launder, and return soiled linen, keeping linen rooms tidy and organised. Clean kitchen appliances and surfaces (ovens, fridges, microwaves) as scheduled. Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the management team. Follow COSHH and infection control procedures at all times and complete required cleaning logs. Work with discretion and respect residents' privacy and belongings while cleaning their rooms.

What We're Looking For

A dependable self-starter with a keen eye for detail. Friendly, approachable, and mindful of working in a care-home setting. Able to follow cleaning schedules, safety guidelines, and use cleaning equipment safely. Previous domestic / housekeeping experience
