Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team for 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment throughout the home. Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are kept tidy and hygienic. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards. Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively. Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent standards are met. Dispose of waste responsibly and replenish supplies as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with specialised cleaning tasks in hospital or healthcare environments as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable. Experience working in a healthcare environments is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues.
