We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. Duties
Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
Handle specialised cleaning tasks
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll in restrooms and kitchens
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and stored appropriately after use
Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
Qualifications
Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is desirable
Basic organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules and environments
