Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including hotels and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties in assigned areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and presentable. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces to maintain high cleanliness standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with laundry services as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
