Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting, contributing to the overall appearance and sanitation of the facility.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly Restock toiletries and consumables as required in bathrooms and kitchens Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when needed Support other team members with additional duties to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures Strong attention to detail with organisational skills Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-have skills include cooking, customer service experience, or specific hotel or commercial cleaning expertise

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
