We are looking for a

Domestic Assistant

to join our team and help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that make Mayfield a welcoming home for our residents.

About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play an essential role in keeping our home clean, tidy, and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. You'll work closely with the care and maintenance teams to ensure all areas of the home are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and offices to a high standard Following cleaning schedules and infection control procedures Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly Working as part of a supportive team to maintain a homely environment for residents Respecting residents' privacy, dignity, and personal space at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment in a care setting.

Essential qualities:

Reliable, hardworking, and well-organised Friendly, caring, and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues Ability to work independently and as part of a team Awareness of infection prevention and control (training provided) Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic role (preferable but not essential)
