Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This role is crucial in providing a pleasant environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management. Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests and inquiries in a professional manner. Assist with cooking or food preparation as needed in certain environments such as hotels or catering services. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Experience in the hotel industry is an advantage, particularly in maintaining guest rooms and common areas. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients and guests. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Basic cooking skills are beneficial for roles that involve food preparation tasks.
