Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various environments, ensuring spaces are hygienic, welcoming, and well-presented. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in janitorial or hotel cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in customer service and cooking.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed Ensure all areas are tidy and organised at all times Handle specialised cleaning tasks for commercial or hospitality environments as required Assist with setting up and clearing away tables or equipment during events or service periods Provide friendly customer service to clients or guests when applicable Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is preferred Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered a plus but not essential Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in completing duties Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour for customer interactions Ability to work independently or as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to different environments and cleaning requirements
