Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Cleaner to join our team, providing high-quality cleaning services within service users' own homes. This role requires a reliable individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in a home-based care environment.
Responsibilities
Carry out thorough and detailed cleaning of service users' homes, including floors, surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a consistently high standard, with strong attention to detail
Safely and effectively use appropriate cleaning equipment and household cleaning products
Follow individual cleaning plans and respect service users' personal spaces and belongings
Restock basic household items or cleaning supplies when required and agreed
Adhere to all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for both service users and staff
Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organised and well maintained
Report any maintenance concerns, damage, or safety hazards to management promptly
Assist with occasional specialised domestic tasks (such as deep cleaning, oven cleaning, or window cleaning) when required
Experience
Previous experience in domestic cleaning, home care, or similar roles is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
Experience working in private homes, care settings, or hospitality is advantageous
A basic understanding of household cleaning products and equipment is desirable
A respectful, professional, and friendly manner when working in service users' homes is essential

The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and deliver a high standard of service tailored to each individual home.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
